In this 3 week course, learn how to construct a Jelly Roll Race Quilt from start to finish. Master the basics of piecing, matching seams and corners, learn the basics of sandwiching and quilting (the top-stitching) using a Free Motion Quilting Foot, and finish off with binding! Course runs 3 hours per class. Saturdays - 9a - 12p Skills needed: Basic sewing knowledge/Beginner friendly Cost: $150 per person, plus quilt materials Aprox finished quilt size: 50x60 Lap Quilt All tools and machines are provided for class time! Kit available ($125), or Bring your own materials. If providing your own materials please bring the following to class: Suggested fabrics: Cotton woven or batiks Quilt Top: 1 Jelly Roll (min 40 strips) 1 color - 1/2yd (contrast) 1 color - 1/2yd (binding) Batting: 100% cotton batting - Twin Size Quilt Back: (can be discussed during class) 60" (or wider fabric) - 2yd ***If, for any reason, a student needs to miss a scheduled day, make-up sessions are available during "Mixed Skills" class time or other times as deemed with instructor***
